Loved ones of hospice patients are often the primary caregivers and handle everything from grocery shopping to assistance with activities of daily living. We understand how difficult this can be for the caregivers. CompleteCO provides caregiver support, allowing you to spend more quality time with your loved one.
CAREGIVER SUPPORT SERVICES
MEDICAL SUPPORT
Our interdisciplinary care team travels directly to your loved ones home or where ever they are receiving care to provide them with the medical support they need in order to manage any symptoms or pain they are experiencing. CompleteCO has a medical director that will oversee the care of the hospice patient. The patient may also use their primary care physician to oversee their care if they wish.
CERTIFIED HOSPICE AIDES
Our certified aides provide daily support for the hospice patient and tend to their personal care needs, such as bathing, dressing, brushing teeth, combing hair and grooming, and etc. They may also assist with meal prepping and light housekeeping. CompleteCO hospice aides can help bare the majority of daily living assistance and allow the caregivers to have a break.
HOSPICE VOLUNTEERS
CompleteCO hospice volunteers can provide a great deal of support to the patient and the family. Our hospice volunteers can provide comfort and companionship for your loved one. Volunteers may sit and talk with the patient, read to them, or just sit with them so they are not alone. Hospice volunteers allow the primary in-home caregivers to step away for a moment and take care of whatever they need, or just simply take a break.
SOCIAL WORKER
Our hospice social workers can provide a tremendous amount of support for the hospice patient, as well as their caregiver. It can be difficult to navigate the road ahead after a loved on receives a terminal diagnosis. CompleteCO social workers can provide guidance and resources, assist with legal documents, titles and deeds, memorial service planning, and seeing to the patient's final wishes.
SPIRITUAL & EMOTIONAL SUPPORT
CompleteCO can provide spiritual and emotional support for the hospice patient, their families and caregivers. Our hospice chaplain can provide counseling and spiritual guidance. Although we provide spiritual support, this service is completely optional. Honoring your loved ones wishes is always a priority.
BEREAVEMENT & GRIEF COUNSELING
The passing of a loved one is always an emotional challenge. Families and caregivers have access to our free bereavement services and grief counseling. Grief counseling can help with coping with the loss of a loved one in a healthy way. Additionally, CompleteCO can provide referrals for other services if necessary.
